RideRunner App version 5.1.0 is ready for the road. This update focuses on the moments that matter most: following your progress, reviewing a finished ride and staying confident that your tracking experience will be there when you need it.
Leaderboards for every rider
The RideRunner leaderboard is now open to all riders. You can move between Riders and Teams, choose a Day, Week, Month or All-Time view, and compare the measures that matter to you—from distance and rides to hours and ride-performance statistics. Tap a rider in the table to visit their profile and learn more about the people setting the pace in the community.
A cleaner way to return to your finished ride
After you complete a ride with analysis available, RideRunner now gives you a one-time notification that takes you directly to the analysis for that exact ride. Once you have opened it, the notification clears itself. This replaces the old persistent home-screen prompt, so your home view stays focused on what is current.
Saved ride names are also easier to keep organised. You can tap the ride title to edit it from both the ride detail view and the ride analysis view, making it simple to give your favourite routes a name you will recognise later.
Tracking and analysis that are more dependable
We have strengthened several edge cases behind the scenes. Ride state is retained more reliably when the app moves into the background, the tracking map now handles a ride without analysis data safely, and motion-sensor features degrade gracefully on devices where a sensor bridge is unavailable instead of interrupting the experience.
Fairer road ownership
We have added a guard to the free-tier road reclaim flow so that a rider who has already reached their ownership limit cannot spend points reclaiming a different road. Premium riders continue to have unrestricted road ownership, while the free-tier rule is applied before any points or ownership data changes.
